This is my Nana’s recipe and my Mum would make them for parties when I was kid. They are so delicious and so fun. This no-bake, 5 ingredient recipe is great to make and share with kids, but adults love them too!
INGREDIENTS
Makes 12
1.5 Tablespoons Cocoa Powder
2 Tablespoons Honey
1/2 Cup Butter
4 Tablespoons [Golden] Caster Sugar
4 Cups Cornflakes
Patty Pans
METHOD
1. Add patty pans to a 12 muffin baking tray [this is just so they hold their shape].
2. Put the cocoa, butter, honey and sugar into a sauce pan over low heat and stir until they are fully combined and smooth.
3. Place the cornflakes in a large bowl.
4. Pour the melted mixture over the cornflakes and toss it together with a spoon until it is evenly distributed and the flakes are mostly all covered (do this gently so as not to crush the cornflakes).
5. Evenly spoon the coated cornflakes into the 12 patty pans
6. Place the tray in the fridge for 1 hour or more to set.
7. Enjoy!
